Several of you have asked me who and what Mystra really is, so i have prepared this short lecture for your enlightenment in the matter. To understand who and what Mystra really is you will need to understand several other things first.

    As all of you should know by now i am quite an old fellow, just how old will be a lecture for another essay, but quite old nevertheless. I am also not limited to the Universe of Rhydin. What most of you do not know is that I inhabit quite a large number of bodies in many different universes at any given moment. This is where Mystra comes in. As i developed the ability to be in several bodies at once I ran across a problem. The problem was this... I could inhabit a few bodies with no problem and split my awareness between them; but as more bodies entered the mix this became less and less feasible, my awareness was being stretched too thin to be useful to any of the bodies. So i hunted for an answer. Here is where Mystra comes in. I in my research for an answer i experimented with my essence, the Silverflame, and discovered that i could program it like what some technical civilisations call a computer. I spent the equivalent of one million years writing the most complex artificial intelligence program ever written. I named her Mystra after one of my favorite Daughters from another realm. Once i connected myself to Mystra and "uploaded" my personality to her I was able to exist in as many bodies and universes as i wished and she tracked all the threads of concscienceness and processed the treads of awareness into a central "personality bank" known as the Silverflame Pool that contains  the sum total of my awareness, memories, thoughts, powers etc. In a very real way Mystra and myself are the same being, yet she has her own personality as well.
    That basically covers who Mystra is but i still need to explain something, Mystra basically has unlimited processing power. When I or any member of the house calls upon one of the House Powers, Mystra performs an immediate search of my powers and "Downloads" the appropriate ability at the very moment we think of it. She also has the ability to perform the multi-body functions for any member of the house that She performs for me. Those who reach this phase of development are called " Cre'saval " and it is a natural outgrowth of the A'ventu state.
